Blue morning. Under an endless sky, Baker is softly veiled in a sheer haze. One of the best things about living in the lower mainland is the shield of glorious, towering sentinels in every direction. They are so lovely, so gracious and they seem to watch over us with gentle protection which belies their jagged peaks and otherwise imposing stature.
Mountains evoke a sense of security, their very presence is reassuring which leads me to ponder over the incredible hands that have masterfully formed them. Every peak, summit and crest become visible arrows pointing to our invisible Maker. How vast and unfathomable is His heart? Was there ever a better sculptor? So many crowns and they all belong to Him.
